Our most requested engagement

Rent an AI engineer.

A senior AI engineer, embedded in your team for a fixed monthly fee. They join your standups, work in your repositories, and ship into your systems. Monthly notice period, no success fees.

What you get

An engineer, not a retainer.

  • Someone who has done it before

A senior engineer who has already wired AI into ERPs, CRMs, and approval chains, so your first month is delivery rather than education.

  • Inside your team, not beside it

Your standups, your repositories, your issue tracker. They are reachable on your channels during your working day.

  • Running software, not recommendations

The output is a workflow in production with real users on it. Documents are a by-product of the work, never the deliverable.

  • No hiring risk

Monthly notice, no recruitment fee, no severance, no eighteen-month bet on a market where the skills are still moving.

Team enablement, connected systems, and a dealflow intake workflow that removed an estimated 10–20 hours of manual work every week.

FAQ

The usual questions.

What is a workstream?

One system or process being made AI-native at a time. Dealflow intake, ERP reporting, or a customer-facing agent are each one workstream. It is what limits how much can run at once, which is why the tiers are priced against it rather than against hours.

Is this a body-leasing arrangement?

No. You are buying an outcome-owning engineer, not a seat. They take responsibility for a workstream end to end, bring our patterns and internal tooling with them, and escalate to the wider practice when a problem needs a second specialist.

Can we start with less than 0,5 FTE?

Yes, that is what Essential is for. It covers one workstream in parallel with a senior engineer attached to it, which is the right size for a first engagement or a single stubborn process.

What if we need to stop?

The notice period is monthly. There is no minimum term, no exit fee, and no success fee. If the work stops being worth the fee you should be able to stop it, and the handover material means your team is not stranded when you do.

Who owns the code and the IP?

You do. We build in your repositories, your cloud, and inside your data boundaries. Everything produced during the engagement is yours, including the prompts, evaluation sets, and connector code.

Do you work on site?

We are based in Vienna and work on site across the DACH region where it helps, particularly for the first weeks of an engagement. Beyond that the work runs on your channels, in English or German.

What does the engineer need from us?

An internal sponsor who can unblock system access, and one person from the team who wants to own the work afterwards. Access to the relevant systems is usually the longest pole, so starting that early is the single best thing you can do.

How is this different from your Training or Tech engagements?

Training is a fixed sprint that upskills your people, and Tech is scoped delivery of a defined build. Renting an engineer is open-ended capacity: you set the priorities month to month rather than agreeing a scope up front.

Let's talk about what you're building next.

Tell us which process is costing you the most, and we will tell you whether it is worth an engineer.
