Your employees already use personal ChatGPT accounts, and your data protection officer will not accept that any longer. Or Langdock is already in place at headquarters, and someone in the international team asks whether meinGPT, companyGPT or simply Microsoft Copilot would have been the better choice.
Almost every one of these platforms calls itself GDPR compliant, model agnostic and agent ready. The differences sit in the details, and this comparison puts them side by side.
Langdock alternatives for companies in the EU
The main alternatives to Langdock are meinGPT and companyGPT from Germany, 506.ai from Austria and Mistral Vibe (formerly Le Chat) from France. Then there are the offers from the large model vendors: ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude Enterprise.
Disclosure: Specialty Tokens sells none of these platforms, partners with none of these vendors, and trains teams in whichever platform they chose. We wrote this page. All facts come from the vendors' own websites, as of October 2026. We leave out prices because they vary widely by contract.
What to compare
Six criteria separate these platforms: model choice (one vendor or several), data location as the vendor states it (EU, one country, your cloud, on premise), agents that departments build and share, integrations and support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), workflows that run without a click, and the audience each vendor serves.

Langdock
Overview: Langdock, based in Berlin, combines chat, agents, integrations, workflows and an API on one platform. According to Langdock, the application runs in the EU on Microsoft Azure; the company is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type II audited.
- Strengths: models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral and others in one interface; workflows with more than 50 integrations; MCP servers for tools without a ready-made connector.
- Fits when you want one platform for every department and model choice matters more than staying inside one ecosystem.
- Doesn't fit when your data must sit in one specific country or in your own cloud and you are below the 5,000 seats from which Langdock offers bring-your-own-cloud and on-premise deployment.
meinGPT
Overview: meinGPT, from SelectCode GmbH in Unterhaching near Munich, describes itself as an AI use case platform for the German Mittelstand. According to the vendor, platform and data layer run at Hetzner in German data centers, certified to ISO 27001:2022.
- Strengths: a privacy filter that masks sensitive data before a request reaches the model vendor; integrations with Microsoft 365, SAP, Salesforce and Confluence, among others; meeting notes and a "Buddy" that suggests use cases and learning content.
- Fits when hosting in Germany is a must and you want support with your first use cases.
- Doesn't fit when you want to run background agents at scale today: per its website, that feature is in private beta.
companyGPT
Overview: Several vendors use the name CompanyGPT. This entry covers the offer from innFactory AI Consulting GmbH in Rosenheim: a platform built on open source (including LibreChat) that runs in your Microsoft Azure tenant or on STACKIT.
- Strengths: data stays in the EU and in your own infrastructure, according to the vendor; models from OpenAI, Google and Anthropic plus self-hosted models; an agent marketplace and more than 100 tools via MCP; no per-user fees, with model costs billed directly by the cloud provider.
- Fits when your IT team wants to operate and control the platform in its own cloud.
- Doesn't fit when you want a finished SaaS product without running any cloud infrastructure yourself.
506.ai
Overview: 506.ai, from 506 Data & Performance GmbH in Linz, Austria, is an agentic AI platform with a dedicated instance per customer, hosted in the EU and, on request, in Austria, certified to ISO/IEC 27001.
- Strengths: chat, assistants and agents for processes, separate data stores per department, an API; consulting and training from the same vendor, including AI literacy under Art. 4 of the AI Act; a dedicated offer for municipalities.
- Fits when you are based in Austria, want hosting in the country, and prefer platform and support from one vendor.
- Doesn't fit when you need a broad catalog of ready-made integrations to many SaaS tools; the website gives fewer details on this than Langdock or meinGPT do.
ChatGPT Enterprise
Overview: OpenAI's enterprise plan, and the comparison many buyers make first (Langdock vs ChatGPT Enterprise). According to OpenAI, new workspaces can be set up so that content is stored in Europe, and business data is not used for training by default.
- Strengths: models and features straight from the vendor; GPTs and agents shared across the company; apps that connect internal sources and respect existing permissions.
- Fits when your teams already work in ChatGPT and one model vendor is enough. More in our ChatGPT training.
- Doesn't fit when you need models from several vendors in one interface or hosting in one specific country.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Overview: Copilot works in Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel with the Microsoft Graph data each user already has access to. For EU customers, Microsoft lists Copilot as an EU Data Boundary service.
- Strengths: no new interface, Microsoft 365 permissions keep applying; agents that admins approve; custom agents with Agent Builder; Copilot connectors for further data sources.
- Fits when your working day happens in Microsoft 365. More in our Microsoft Copilot training.
- Doesn't fit when key data lives outside Microsoft, or you need Anthropic models inside the EU Data Boundary: Microsoft currently excludes them from it.
Claude Enterprise
Overview: Anthropic's enterprise plan with chat, Claude Cowork, Claude Code and connectors. According to Anthropic, inputs and outputs are not used for training by default.
- Strengths: in our experience strong with long documents, writing and software development; connectors to Google Drive, Slack and other tools; SSO, SCIM and audit logs.
- Fits when knowledge work with long texts or software development is at the center. More in our Claude training.
- Doesn't fit when you need provable storage and processing in the EU: Anthropic names that regional option via AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex and Microsoft Foundry. For the Claude workspace itself, check your contract.
Mistral Vibe (formerly Le Chat)
Overview: Le Chat is now called Mistral Vibe and combines chat with a coding agent. For companies there are Team and Enterprise plans. According to Mistral, data is stored in the EU by default; some features may process data temporarily outside the EU, and Enterprise admins can switch those features off.
- Strengths: a European model vendor; agents and scheduled workflows; more than 100 connectors with MCP; Enterprise also on premise, in a private cloud or in Mistral's cloud.
- Fits when you want a European model vendor directly, or want to run models on your own infrastructure.
- Doesn't fit when your teams specifically need models from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.
Is there a GDPR-compliant ChatGPT alternative?
Yes, several, but "GDPR compliant" is a property of your setup, not of a product. Every platform above offers EU hosting or EU processing in some form. What decides compliance is the data processing agreement, which data your rules allow into which model, and whether features that leave the EU are switched off. Clarify that with your data protection officer; this is not legal advice.
How to choose
- Data rules first: which data may go into which model, and must the location be one specific country?
- Check your ecosystem: a company fully in Microsoft 365 starts differently from a team on Google Workspace, Salesforce and its own ERP.
- Test three real tasks: one recurring task per department, with real files, in two platforms.
- Count the integrations: which systems does the agent need, and are they available ready-made or via MCP?
- Plan the rollout: without training and people who build agents, any platform stays a chat window.
We take care of the last step. TimeTac shows how: after a workshop and with an internal AI platform, its marketing and growth team put ten automations live, with 117 runs in three weeks and no engineers on the team. We train in Langdock (Langdock training) just as we do in any other platform. For the big assistants side by side, see ChatGPT vs Copilot vs Claude vs Gemini; for every training format, see AI training for employees.
